PLG2200/12 12layers 316 Stainless Steel Continuous Disc Plate Dryer

On the basis of intermittent stirring dryer, a disc plate dryer is a kind of multi-layer fixed hollow heating circular carrier disc developed by continuous improvement, which is developed by continuous improvement. The drying process is to pass the heat carrier into each layer of hollow disc. In the way of heat conduction, the wet material placed on the surface of the disk is heated indirectly, and the wet portion of the rolling material is evaporated under the operating temperature under the action of rotating the rake and rake, and the steam is discharged with the tail gas of the equipment, so that the qualified dry finished products are continuously obtained at the bottom of the equipment.​

PLG Continuous Disc Plate Dryer Working Principle

The wet material is fed continuously to the first drying layer on the top of the dryer. It will be turned and stirred by rakes when the rake arm rotates and drop down to the outer edge of the large drying plate along the exponential helical line. The material will be moved from the small drying plate to its outer edge and drop down to the outer edge of the large drying plate underneath. Both small and large drying plates are arranged alternately so the materials can go through the dryer continuously. The heat medium can be saturated steam, hot water or thermal oil. The heat will be led into hollow drying plates from one end and come out from the other end. The dried materials will drop from the last layer of the drying plate to the bottom of the dryer and then moved by rakes to the discharge outlet. The material moisture will be removed from the exhaust outlet on the top cover. For the vacuum-type plate dryer, the moisture will be sucked out by the vacuum pump on the top cover. The dried materials will be discharged from the bottom layer. The drying capability can be improved if the dryer equipped with supplementary devices such as finned heater, condenser for solvent retrieval, bag dust remover, return and mix mechanism, draft fan, and etc.

5. The rake blade which transfers the material after stopping feeding can quickly empty the material in the dryer.

6. Careful cleaning and observation of the equipment can be carried out through special large-sized inspection doors and mirrors.

7. The material layer is very thin, the spindle speed is low, the installed power of the system is low, and the power consumption is low.

8. The operating environment is good, the solvent can be recovered, and the exhaust dust content is very low.

9. It can be operated in vacuum, especially for the drying of heat sensitive materials.

10. The dryer is manufactured as a whole. It only needs to be hoisted and positioned. It is very easy to install and locate.

11. Drying plate layout and vertical installation occupy a small area.
