    Heat Transfer Area 9M2 Thermal Oil Heat Resource Industry Equipment Paddle Dryer

    CHPD Contnuous Hollow Paddle dryer is a dryer that allows materals ( organic, inorganic particles or powder material ) to be drectly contacted with a rotating hollow wedge-type heating part for heat transfer. It does not require air as a heating medium, the air used is only a carrier to take vapor out.


    Product Working Principle

    CHPD series Paddle Dryer is a kind of heat conduction-based horizontal mixng dryer, the main structure is a jacketed W-shaped shell with a pair inside low-speed rotating hollow shaft, the shaft is welding a number of hollow mixing blade, jacket and hollow stirrer are passed though heat medium, and the two heating surfaces dry materials at same time. Therefore, the machine has a prominent heat transfer rate than general conduction dryer. Baxial or multi-axis type can be designed according to actual needs.
    The hot air is usually fed from the middle of dryer and discharged from the other side through the surface of material layer in the agitated state. Heating medium can be steam, hot water, or high temperature heat transfer oil.

    Product Feature

    1.The dryer is very compact and small installation area is needed. Most the heating area is from paddles which can make the dryer structure very compact.
    2.Heat efficiency is higher than 80%. The indirect heating design considerably reduce heat loss.
    3.The drying temperature can be separately controlled to fit different drying stages.
    4.Paddle dryer has high flexibility for wide moisture range. The residence time of wet material inside the drying chambers adjustable from minutes to hours by changing the shafts rotation speed and adding the overflow plate.

    HEAT SOURCES(Temperature at 180ºC - 250ºC)

    Heating by Steam

    Steam enters the hollow shaft through a rotary joint and is evenly distributed to all paddles. Condensate is removed with each revolution.

    Heating by Hot Oil(thermal fluid)

    Hot oil(thermal fluid) enters and exits the hollow shaft through a rotary joint. Pressure from the supply pump forces liquid through the hollow paddles.


    Product Application

    Blade dryer has been successfully used in food, chemical, petrochemical, dye, industrial sludge and other fields. Equipment heat, cooling, mixing features make it to complete the following unit operations: calcination (low temperature), cooling, drying (solvent recovery), heating (melting), response and sterilization. Mixing blades at the same time the heat transfer surface, the effective volume per unit area of heat transfer increases, reducing the processing time. Heat transfer surfaces in wedge-shaped blades with self-cleaning function. Compression - Expansion mixing features make the material mixed uniformly. Material along the axis into a "plug flow" movement, in the axial zone, the material temperature, humidity, mixing a very small degree of gradient.
